Veterans, active military personnel, police officers and firefighters seeking free legal advice may attend the second annual Veterans and First Responders Legal Clinic.

The Invest in America Military Museum in Cape Coral is hosting a free legal clinic for veterans, active military, police and firefighters on Oct. 29.

It is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Southwest Florida Military Museum and Library, 4820 Leonard St., Cape Coral.

It is a partnership with Invest in America’s Veterans Foundation, Florida Rural Legal Services and the Lee County Bar Association.

The advice is on matters including real estate/property, family law, estates and trusts, veterans’ benefits and social security benefits. The event is free with valid identification. No registration is required.

The clinic is spearheaded by bar association President-Elect Kelly Fayer.

“There is never enough help in the legal field available to veterans who are living on limited incomes," said Ralph Santillo, the foundation’s founder and president.
