Panther carcass found; second in as many days

The state Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said Sunday it has recovered the carcass of a Florida panther along Alligator Alley in Collier County.
The 5- or 6-year-old male was found at mile marker 95, about three miles from the end of the highway's
wildlife fencing. The cause of death was collision with a vehicle; it was the fourth panther death of 2015
On Saturday, the carcass of a 4-year-old male was found near Interstate 75's mile marker 132, which is near Daniels Parkway in Lee County.
