Here's our list of family-friendly events happening in Southwest Florida this weekend, Feb. 12-14.

The Edison Festival of Light Junior Parade is among the many family-friendly events happening this weekend.

FRIDAY, FEB. 12

7th Annual Punta Gorda Banjo Bash – 6:30 p.m. Charlotte County Memorial Auditorium, 75 Taylor St., Punta Gorda. $20-$25. Cirque Italia – Feb. 12-14. Old Marketplace Lot, 100 W. Marion Ave., Punta Gorda, FL 33950. $10-$50. Parking is $5. Did you miss the Cirque Italia experience when it was in south Fort Myers last weekend? Catch the show in Punta Gorda. Cirque Italia is a traveling water circus with a stage that holds 35,000 gallons of water and features a dynamic lid that lifts 35 feet into the air, allowin gwater to fall like rain. Everglades Seafood Festival – Feb. 12-14. Everglades City. Live music, fresh seafood, crafts and carnival rides. Exhibit: Civil Rights in the Sunshine State – 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Southwest Florida Museum of History, 2031 Jackson St., Fort Myers. $9.50 for adults, $5 for students; some discounts available. The ground-breaking “Civil Rights in the Sunshine State” is one of the first attempts to view the Florida civil rights movement through a statewide lens. Managing Wolf Pups – 2-3:30 p.m. Sanibel Public Library, 770 Dunlop Road, Sanibel, FL 33957. Joanne Wessels of Sanibel Public Library is a volunteer at the Ely, Minnesota, International Wolf Center, and she will talk about how the Center acquires new wolf pups, the selection process and the laws governing animals that are on the endangered-species list. Her presentation reviews how the staff and “nannies” prepare for the arrival of new wolves and socialize the pups, specifically for two Arctic wolf pups who will join the pack in May. 2016 CREW Concert & Silent Eco-Auction – 5-9 p.m. Riverside Park, 26740 Pine Ave., Bonita Springs. $15 in advance, $20 at the gate, free for children younger than 12. Edison Festival of Light Events – The day has several events: • Edison Garden Festival, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 13-14., Edison & Ford Winter Estates, 2350 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33901. Free. In addition to plants, there are numerous kids' activities, including a petting zoo (on Sunday), root beer tasting table, photo opportunities in a Model T Ford and with the Thomas Edison and Henry Ford living history characters, creating botanical valentines and making corn husk dolls. Kids also will be able to plant sprouts that they can grow at home. The festival will feature live entertainment, refreshments and a special Valentine’s Day giveaway. • STEMtastic Day of Discovery, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Harborside Event Center, Fort Myers. Free. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge is free Feb. 13-15 in honor of Presidents Day. Admission to the drive is usually $5 per car, $1 per adult cyclist and hiker.

Edison Festival of Light Junior Parade & Related Events –1-5 p.m. Downtown Fort Myers. The day starts at 1 p.m. with a fun run for kids ($5 entry fee includes T-shirt and ribbon).
